Good consulting resources are rare and expensive. ERP Partners/Vendors are always in dilemma whether to hire additional resources or not. It is chicken and egg situation. Whether to hire when there is a new project or hire first otherwise there may not be a new project. Secondly, resource management is a juggling act. Sometimes vendors have too many resources and not much work other times consulting resources are working long hours to meet client needs.
Ultimately, it impacts negatively on projects. Not all project gets dedicated good consulting resources throughout the life cycle of the project.
Therefore, it is lose-lose situation for both partners and clients.
