Acknowledging my own biases!

Leadership

I am influenced by a self-serving bias. If I am not careful and alert, I default to being an actor during success and look at someone else during failure. Many egocentric biases influence my mind every day. If I am not careful, I may protect my ego for all the wrong reasons. I may start to protect someone who is pretty empty inside (me).

However, once I acknowledge my biases and their effect on my life, I may begin to monitor myself closely. I may start to watch myself like a hawk. I become more self-aware and smile at myself by acknowledging my own biases in action.
