What matters is our effectiveness.

It is not how much work we have done. It is about how much work we have completed.

Effectiveness is about having the discipline to do a few things, saying no to new things, and reducing work in progress. It is about coming out from the glamour of being busy to make a real effort to complete the job at hand.
