If I am decisive, focused, and hardworking, then I have much to be grateful for. These virtues are blessings, not earned, so there is no reason for pride.
Comparing myself to others can lead to a roller coaster of emotions such as pride, jealousy, or envy. This is a clear sign of my shortsightedness. There is no need to compare my blessings with those of others, as each of us comes with a package of unique blessings.
