Access to fancy food, alcohol, tobacco, relationships with influential people, material possessions, personal traits, and numerous other dimensions that feed our pride can be a slow poison to our social, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.

In the glory of pride and fulfilment of ego, we fail to see how these pleasures feed us as slow poison.
