Doing anything new and big can be intimidating.
We often throw such initiatives in the too-hard basket and tend to run back to the status quo.
The transformation, however, comes at a cost— the effort of taking risks, making decisions without comprehensive information, and keeping pushing on. Yes, it is not easy and often painful. There is ambiguity, and there is a high chance we may fail. But that is part of our transformation.
When we start, it is entirely normal to be confused. We often want to go back to the status quo. We may investigate our current state a little more. We may want to pretend to take baby steps but demonstrate no movement. Leaving the comfort zone often appears to be uncomfortable.
The transformation, however, demands our commitment and sacrifice. The reward is on the other end. We have to keep going.
