It is true that employees are trained to please their boss!
The hierarchical corporate structure dictates that the employees listen to their bosses, nod and say pleasing words. Therefore not many employees speak from their hearts.
As leaders, we must be aware of this real-world phenomenon. Unfortunately, our team members may try to please us rather than confront real issues and ideas.
So, we may make massive assumptions to think our teams like our ideas and work. They may hate it and pretend to accept it just to please us.
