There is a big difference between entertainers and leaders.
The entertainers cajole, tell us what we want to listen to, mesmerise us, and make us feel important.
The leaders take complete control of the situation, take full ownership, challenge us, and deal with the root cause of the problem. We may not like them, but they have a bigger cause, objective, and goal.
As an executive, make sure you differentiate between entertainers and leaders.
