Sometimes, I don’t stand up for myself. I let go of things because I don’t think they are that important. I tend to be flexible and adjust so we can move on with life. I may even bear insults just to avoid conflict. I may not make material decisions to prevent arguments.
I tell myself I am flexible, agile, and understanding. Quite possibly, it can be a sign of weak character. Ultimately, it all depends on the narrative we tell and then start to believe in.
