Many times, my thoughts are justifications for my past decisions or actions. My thoughts justify my previous choices and actions.
For example, I may justify my spending on expensive clothing. Similarly, I justify hiring additional employees within the company when we do not have enough work.
While my justifications help to calm my mind with some logical reasoning, they offer little help in learning.
I may be better off practising intentional introspection and learning from my previous decisions and actions.
