My best friend is the one who opens my eyes to the obvious that I don’t see. They hold my hand, lead me from the front, and push me to notice vital things I might find uninteresting. They make me uncomfortable for my benefit, spot my biases, false assumptions, and weird decisions, and challenge my status quo.
My best friend may not be just one person. They could be my doctor, teacher, wife, kids, family members, competitor, mentor, sparring buddy, or sensei. I must keep looking for them with an open heart and mind!
