Sometimes, I find the task ahead of me challenging. I don’t know where to start or what to do. Other times, the environment does not support the planned task.
In such situations, I have been able to complete the tasks because of the discipline of taking the next step. It did not matter how little the next step was.
It may be:
- Getting ready for a run when the weather is unpleasant
- Start typing random thoughts for the daily blog when I have no idea where to start.
- Researching to find direction when lost on the given task
I have been pleasantly surprised by the outcomes of planting the seeds of consistent small actions.
