As adults, we assume that we know it all. We do not receive direct feedback like kids do. Even if someone provides feedback, we will likely deflect rather than accept it.
We do not necessarily grow in our learning with age. Instead, we develop rigidity and stubbornness in our thoughts and experiences.
In self-reflection, I have life-changing experiences when I accept new information with an open mind.
