Pleasure is usually the fruit of pain!

Leadership

We love to have a life filled with pleasure. Pleasure is usually the fruit of pain.

Sometimes, we are lucky to have people who relentlessly follow up and check on us. People who make sure we do the right thing. People who look at us from a distance because they care. People who speak to us straight to our faces. People who are prepared to walk away but do not compromise on their principles.

These people are painful to be with. They can be our colleagues, managers, coaches, mentors, teachers, parents, friends, or family. They cause enough pain so that one day, we can experience intense, lasting pleasure.

If you have such people around you, you are lucky, and be grateful for what you have!
