Real people need real environments to do real work!

In an ideal world, we put dedicated effort into our work, support each other, and get the job done. We take accountability and provide our full support to our team. No time is wasted on gossip, complaints, and negativity.

In the real world, however, we need an environment that gives us space and freedom to speak freely. Sometimes, we need to vent our negativity. Life can be challenging and uncertain; having a friend within our team is a blessing. The sooner we let go of our negativity, the quicker we feel better. The more trustworthy people we find in our group, the more effective the team will likely be.

The question is: as leaders, how are we creating an environment where teammates can have mutual trust, speak from the heart, and put everything into winning?
