Leadership is not about taking pride in fan following or the size of our team. Sometimes leaders decide to march alone. Their purpose can be more significant than themselves. So, they put everything into the cause they are serving. They stand strong to fight for their cause. They work hard, persevere, sacrifice and still stand strong to fight for what they perceive is right.
For them, it is not about – ‘What is there for me?’. Instead, they look for – ‘What is there with me that I can give?’
They are rebels, fanatics, saints and soldiers who live to serve. They are often ahead of their times. People value them when they are no longer with them.
Reading this, who comes to your mind? At the time of writing, I am feeling weak and seeking courage from them for selfless leadership!
