We all have different standards of delivery. For example, one may consider delaying the delivery, and few product issues are normal. Whereas for other vendors, product issues and delays may not be acceptable.
Rather than relying on the vendor’s definition, define acceptance criteria for each work product. For example, specify which conditions must be met before accepting the work product as complete. Don’t make assumptions. Clearly state the conditionals that must be met for work product’s acceptance.
