You can compare me against others and judge the value I may offer. But you don’t know how far I have come or what I am willing to do for you.

Similarly, when we compare the progress of teams, organisations and communities, we assess their current state. Often, we miss out on where they have started and how quickly they have reached here (current state).  

When forming a team, vendor selection, and appointing executives, knowing their journeys may give us a much richer perspective.
