Sometimes it takes a few times to start liking a song. It does not impress us the first time. But we eventually start loving it as we hear it more and more.
It may take us some time to start liking a dish. The first few times, we may swallow it. But, eventually, we may start getting in love with it.
Similarly, we may not like a person with their first impression. However, after a few meetings, we may start liking her.
With repetition, we start to appreciate, like and love our experiences. Maybe our brain gives us reasons to demonstrate such behaviour.
As leaders, we must monitor this phenomenon closely to see if something is actually too good or if our brain is tricking us due to mere repetition.
Watch your brain like a hawk!
