When we care about the outcome, we tend to put everything into it. We put in extra hours to meet the deadline. We may put our resources into the initiative. We may talk to others and influence them to join the community. When we care, the lines between us and the outcome blur, and we do everything to achieve the outcome.
So, as an executive, we should find out what is there in our project that people will care about.
