Most of our worries come from the fear of losing—profits shrinking, teams thinning, health declining.
Our mind convinces us that what we have is permanent, deserved, as if we earned it through something extraordinary. That’s why losing what we once held feels unbearable.
But in reality, nothing is permanent. Possessions are an illusion. If we truly owned something, we’d be able to claim it back at will. But can we?
Life is a game played with what’s in our hands today. Tomorrow may bring more, or less, shaped by forces outside our control. What matters is how we play—with intent, without expectation, detached from results.
Play for the spirit of the game, not the score on the board.
