When we focus on our goals, our energy flows toward achieving them. Some goals may be easy, while others are more challenging. We may persist in achieving some while changing our minds about others. As we remain focused on our goals, we often notice our gains and losses but may overlook how we have changed in the process.
We choose goals based on our desires and aspirations. Working towards these goals shapes us into individuals who deserve the success we seek. While it’s important to track our wins and losses, we should also acknowledge the person we become, for better or worse, as a result of our pursuits.
