With AI now available for general use, computers and digital systems are beginning to understand us. Like humans, they can retain memories of past interactions, learn our preferences, and adapt their responses accordingly. We can now engage in meaningful conversations with them, asking questions and receiving thoughtful replies.
But this is just the beginning. Any task that is repeatable can and will be handled by AI-driven machines. The concept of Business As Usual (BAU) is becoming obsolete. Just look around—receptionists have been replaced by tablets at front desks, banks are shutting down physical branches in favour of digital services, and high-end manufacturing has shifted to technologically advanced economies like China.
Do you think that it is only a matter of time before BAU work is completely dead? How are you preparing for this transition?
