Once a deal is sealed and both deliverables and payments are agreed upon, it’s tempting to cut corners while still collecting the full payment. But every time we under-deliver, we’re not just short-changing the other party — we’re compromising our own integrity. What may look like a win on paper or in financial reports is, in reality, a slow erosion of trust and character. In chasing short-term gain, we may unknowingly be digging our own grave.
