Freedom is simple—it’s the ability to make choices on my own terms. The moment something limits those choices (constraints), my freedom shrinks. And I become a slave to the things holding me back.
Constraints come in many forms—financial, social, emotional, habitual, environmental, and political. Some are beyond my control, but others are mine to manage.
For the ones I can control, I need to stay fully conscious of them. Because the moment I blindly commit to them, I’m not just accepting the constraint—I’m choosing its slavery too.
