All the great teachers I’ve come across share one thing in common: a burning desire to see their students excel. They give relentlessly, push hard, and set high expectations—only so they can give even more and help their students reach new heights.
There’s no monetary reward or public applause. They’re not chasing promotions or climbing any corporate ladder. Their motivation comes from within—a deep drive to serve their students to the best of their ability.
As leaders, we have much to learn from great teachers. In fact, we should see ourselves as teachers, coaching, guiding, and investing in our people’s success without expecting anything in return. Perhaps then, we might become great leaders too.
