The presence of boards, advisory committees, and governance layers doesn’t guarantee wisdom.
Organisations with elaborate oversight still make poor decisions. Projects collapse under the watch of Steering Committees and independent assurance reviews. Families and communities commit wrongs under the guidance of those they revere. Nations justify ethnic cleansing under the banner of religion and with the blessing of their icons.
Structures protect us only when we actively guard their integrity. Blind obedience and closed eyes turn them into tools of harm. By the time the public wakes up, the damage is often irreversible.
