If we are proactively using AI, we must be more efficient and effective than ever. Our deliverables should be of higher quality, and we should have greater capacity to take on more challenging work.
This might be the right time to update our KPIs and refresh our job descriptions. With the added value we bring, a higher salary may also be justified. At the same time, a restructure could be necessary—some roles may become redundant as our jobs evolve. We should also consider future prospects and design our teams to leverage emerging technologies.
These are critical questions that leaders must actively address and make swift decisions on. If we remain buried in operational tasks, we risk missing the opportunity altogether. Who knows what price we might be paying for simply staying busy with “busy work”?
