Saving money is good, but often it is silly to save on:
- Investing in cheap software
- Finding stingy workarounds to optimise software licenses
- Holding payment of vendors and pushing ways for additional discounts
- Finding the cheapest possible resources and consultants
- Finding volunteers, consultants offering pro-bono work and freebies
Using the above methods and tricks may sometimes sound smart, but it is likely to do more harm. Doing the right thing is simply a good way to move forward!
