Every entity around us follows a multidimensional roadmap. Each progresses through a unique path shaped by its own variables. Often, we miss these patterns simply because we’re not paying attention.
Take physical inventions, for example—especially new technologies. Most follow a predictable three-stage roadmap:
Stage 1: Luxury & Experience
In the beginning, the product is expensive and exclusive. Only the wealthy can afford it, and it’s seen as a luxury or status symbol.
Stage 2: Utility
Over time, the cost drops, access broadens, and the product becomes a necessity. What was once a luxury becomes an everyday utility.
Stage 3: Obsolescence
Eventually, newer innovations replace it. The product fades into obsolescence—found only in museums, collectors’ shelves, or textbooks.
Start observing the world through the lens of roadmaps. You might begin to see patterns others don’t.
