Why is it so difficult for us to actively listen?
Why don’t many of us make an attempt to speak effectively? For example, we do not think before speaking. Likewise, we do not create intellectual narratives. We do not communicate intentionally, altering tone, volume, and speed.
Why do we tend to acquire similar things on a recurrent basis?
Why do we order the same thing every time we dine at our favourite restaurant?
Why do we have similar thought patterns and make similar decisions regularly?
Our mind appears to be too lethargic! The mind enjoys being distracted by worldly pleasures (material, gadgets, luxury). Our mind loves such distractions, as distractions help the mind away from real problems!
Our minds are far too lazy!
