As leaders, rational decisions are expected of us. However, our choices are biased by our moods, environment, recent wins/losses, personal preferences, love/hate, most recent decisions, time availability, and countless others.
Hence, let us not assume that we are making rational decisions automatically. Secondly, there is value in being aware of our decision-making process and our influencing powers.
The rush of jumping from one meeting to the next will not help. What we need is an open-minded self-assessment.
