In B2B sales, the Sales team’s role is to help us decide.

Making an executive decision is a difficult task. So, if someone is facilitating this process, then there is an opportunity for us to show appreciation. After all, the Sales team is helping us decide at almost no cost.

On the other hand, as executives, our role is to think of win-win partnerships. We can quite easily flow into emotions and trust the Sales team mindlessly. On other occasions, we may negotiate every possible dollar. The good deal is perhaps a balance where all parties work together to win!
