The more I observe, the clearer it becomes—nothing in this world follows a straight line. We love the idea of continuous growth—more revenue, a larger team, more customers. The assumption is that next year must always be bigger and better than this one.
But nothing grows forever. Life, business, and organisational cultures move through cycles—growth, stagnation, decline, and then growth again. Getting caught up in the highs or discouraged by the lows is just a distraction. The real challenge isn’t chasing endless growth—it’s recognising the cycle you’re in and making the right moves at the right time.
