To make anything toxic, give it in abundance over a long period of time.
Sugar. Information. Automation. Even knowledge.
We already know that excess of anything is harmful. Yet we quietly leave it to individuals to define what “too much” means.
When something becomes abundant, most people don’t notice the tipping point. Busy with day-to-day life, they consume what is available, enjoy it, and slowly overconsume it. The damage is gradual, almost invisible.
That is why balance cannot be left to chance. It is a leadership responsibility. Leadership is not about pushing for more at any cost, but about knowing when enough is enough. A clear vision should be anchored in balance, not blind pursuit of growth, scale, or greed.
While the world celebrates “more”, “bigger”, and “faster”, balance rarely arrives by accident. It must be designed—deliberately and consciously—into both personal life and business.
