Not every problem is worth solving. If someone has a solution to the problem we are solving, then adopting and adapting to the solution may be a sensible approach. After all, what is the value of reinventing the wheel? Even if we want to claim our wheel is better than every other wheel out there. It is simply not worth it!
For example, if I have an idea to develop and market a new app idea. I should start by researching if the problem that my app will fix is solved before.
Here is a problem: Our excitement and dopamine rush does not allow us to look elsewhere during problem-solving. Further, our ego does not let us sit back and look at the big picture.
However, we must break this vicious cycle of recreating wheels and add real value to the organisations we serve!
