Get a couple of kids together, and they will find a way to play. Playing is what they enjoy, and they find every possible way to do it. Somehow, as we age, we start to think that playing is limited to kids. Grown-ups don’t need to play. The reality is that we never quit playing. As we age, we play the role of mother and father. We play the role of our job titles – whether it is a teacher or engineer. We often confuse ourselves, assuming that we are our relationships with others, job titles, or other recognitions. The reality is that we are just playing roles assigned to us.
