We complain because it gives us relief. Relief that it’s not us—it’s someone else. A recruiter, the weather, an ERP vendor. Anyone but us.
Complaining is free in a free world. It even works like chewing gum for the mind—keeps the mouth busy, but never fills the stomach. The problem? It doesn’t change our condition. When we complain, we hand over the steering wheel. While protecting our ego, we lose the chance to self-assess and improve.
So we end up exactly where we started—like rocking a chair: plenty of motion, but no progress.
Passive complaining makes everyone lose. Active ownership makes everyone win.
All it takes is a little courage to say: I got it. I’ll do something about my situation.
Are you ready to collect that courage and take charge?
