A few years from now, self-driving cars, robotic servants and drone deliveries will fall in the same category. Future generations are likely to rely on these technologies heavily.

Seldom innovation happens by accident. It all starts by questioning the status quo, asking the hard questions of why and not resting until we find a suitable solution.

As leaders, we must challenge the status quo by asking hard questions such as: Why must customers return to our store? Why do we rely on our account customers to send us orders? Why do we have to spend time and effort selecting the suppliers?

These questions may sound silly because we look at the world from the viewpoint we always had. We open up new opportunities and innovations by questioning the status quo outside our comfort zone. It all starts with having the courage to ask the tough questions of – why!
